Bibi Mafuta

My name is Bibi Mafuta. I heard about CCG College on the job websites while I was looking for a Course in Health and Social Care. I was particularly looking for a part time course as I have children to look after.

I sent my CV to CCG College and they called me for an interview. I passed the interview and the company put me in the BTEC Level 1 course to gain insight knowledge about care. Only after a few days of classes I realised that I am on the right track and this is something I want to do.

The course was full of information about the Health and Social Care sector. The teacher was brilliant and they helped me to understand and to complete my assignments on time whenever I found it difficult.

Once I had finished my Level 1, I wanted to do Level 3 Course in Health and Social Care to develop my learning and registered myself for the Level 3 Health and Social Care course in CCG College. I am currently working with CCG College Healthcare as the company offered me care/Support worker role in my local area soon after I completed level 1 Health and Social Care.

I believe I am very confident and work well at my job. I am now a Senior Carer and deal with complex needs of different service users. I have completed mandatory training from my Level 1 course, which will help me in dealing with the complex needs of different service users.

My aim is to be a District Nurse and work for a Hospital in the future and hope my experience and education with CCG College will help me achieve my aims. I am thankful to CCG College and the team for providing the qualification and helping me develop my career.





Harpal Kaur

My name is Harpal kaur. I have come across CCG College from a family member who is already studying and working with CCG College. I contacted CCG College and enrolled in the BTEC Level 1 course in Health and Social Care where I learned the essentials about the Care sector.

I thought it was a great opportunity for me to gain a qualification in this sector as I want to have career in Health and Social Care. I had always wanted to be a Care Worker/Support Worker because I feel I am a people person.

After finishing the training, the company offered me a Care Worker position. It has been 3 years and have now become a Senior Carer. I am very happy with the job. In 2014, CCG College proposed a BTEC Level 3 in Health and Social Care to have a higher qualification in this sector and to do better within my job.

I deal with difficult service users on a daily basis. For me, to have this qualification was necessary and I think it was the best decision to register for the Level 3 in Health and Social Care. I have nearly finished my course and I think it is a brilliant course for those who aim to have a higher qualification to develop their career in Health and Social care.

It gives so much depth and knowledge about Health and Social Care and to make an individual capable to deal with different patients. My aim is work in a Hospital and be at a Management position.

Kalpana Lewis

My name is Kalpana Lewis. I heard about CCG College on the internet while searching for a qualification in Health and Social Care. Initially I was looking for job in care and qualification to accompany this because I had a personal experience of care from my family.

I applied for a Level 1 Course in Health and Social care and managed to get an interview with CCG College. The company liked my experience and enthusiasm and enrolled me in the course.

I started mandatory training and shadowed the Senior Carer while I was studying. As soon as I finished the Level 1 course, I applied for a position as a carer and then get offered an Assistant Carer Position. In the beginning, I dealt with personal care: assisted people with shopping and accompanied them to places they could not go alone.

After few months, CCG College offered me a BTEC Level 3 in Health and Social Care to further my knowledge. I gained some valuable information about care and how the care industry works. I had the opportunity to practice my training as I was working while taking the qualification.

I wanted to keep up to date with knowledge and information, as the care industry changes their rules and regulations regularly, as well as service users’ needs and how to deal with their requirements.

The teachers are very helpful and understanding. Whenever I needed support they have been always there. I have been working for CCG College for 3 years and have become a Senior Carer, which I had always wanted to be. I hope in the future to gain the qualifications needed to work in a hospital.


Marie Mamotte

My Name is Marie, I heard about CCG College from one my best friends. I am currently attending BTEC Level 3 in Health and Social Care. The course is very interesting, I have a great tutor who helps us on a daily basis and makes sure things are easier if we are stuck somewhere in our studies.

I have improved a lot academically. Initially, I was quite impressed with the classroom environment and centre that CCG College provided. I chose CCG College because I was told that the course structure and classroom environment is really good and I can learn and earn at the same time as the course takes only one day a week.

I am planning to get back to work as family support worker and I think this course will give me insight knowledge and confidence to do my job properly.

I believe I have been trained well. CCG College UK Healthcare offered me a support worker role which is a new challenge for me. I have recently started working and I believe I am doing quite well. I get appreciation from my service users which makes me proud. I am thankful to CCG College and CCG College UK Healthcare for giving me the confidence and expertise for my career.

Mrs. Lovely Yasmin

My name is Lovely Yasmin. I heard about CCG College from my work programme officer at the job centre. The job centre inspired me to take a qualification in Health and Social Care as I have great interest in the care sector. I found the class study in CCG College very interesting as the tutor was very helpful, I have learnt a lot. The class activities were excellent, as there was practical training as well as written work involved.

My aim is to be a teaching assistant and to gain insight knowledge about teaching in Health and Social Care. I am currently working as an assistant at a primary school.

I have already registered for BTEC level 3 with CCG College and looking forward to increasing my knowledge in this sector and gaining more experience.

I am passionate about teaching in Health and Social Care and am working hard with CCG College to make my dream come true. I thank CCG College for giving me valuable experience and knowledge while helping me complete this qualification for the progression of my career.


Ami Anand Dalal

My name is Ami Anand dalal. I became aware of CCG College from my job advisor. I was looking for a qualification in the Care sector and wanted to be a Care Assistant. My job Advisor suggested the College and stated they have various Course Available. I was called in for an interview and enrolled in BTEC Level 1 Health and Social Care.

Once I had started the course I found the training was very helpful and practical based. After finishing the course, CCG College Healthcare offered me a care worker position.

I got the job because I speak 3 languages and have a level 1 qualification CCG College Healthcare aid diverse ethnic communities. I am very pleased that I have completed the course and have learned a lot.

As I am working with critical service users, I have registered myself for further education with CCG College. I am currently working towards my BTEC Level 3 in Health and Social Care to better my knowledge and understanding for my job and go further with my career.

I am quite happy with my job and study at this moment. My aim is to work for NHS sector and I am working towards it through CCG College UK Healthcare and CCG College.

Robina Rehman

My name is Robina Rehman. I am currently working with CCG College UK Healthcare and have done for over 6 months. I heard about CCG College from my local Job Centre as I was looking for a qualification in Health and Social Care. The Job Centre introduced me to CCG College and CCG College UK Healthcare as a potential employer who could provide care work after finishing my studies.

I enrolled in BTEC Level 1 in Health and Social Care. I found the course very helpful for my career. I studied insight out about Health and Social Care and got some practical knowledge on Care.

My Aim is to be a Senior Carer in a hospital. For this I will need a higher qualification.

I am aiming to register myself for BTEC Level 3 in Health and Social Care with CCG College and gain better understanding to achieve my dream.

My colleagues who are completing the course suggested that the course is worth doing it if I wanted to go further in my career. They also said the course has been designed for those in work and only has to be attended once in a week. I believe it will be feasible for me to work throughout the week and study on the weekend. I am thankful to CCG College for helping me out with the qualification and the job while I needed one.


Helen Binda

My name is Helen Binda and I am working as a care assistant in CCG College UK healthcare. I was jobless for a long time and I was looking for a job in care as I had some past experience from a family member I looked after. She suffered with Dementia. I applied to some companies but did not have much luck.

I saw CCG College and their courses online, and I thought to go for a qualification in Health and Social care while searching for Jobs.

I enrolled myself in Level 1 in health and Social Care and I was quite impressed with the course structure and the centre. While I was completing the Course I had some practical shadowing with the senior carer so that I could apply my learning to real life.

I found the course from CCG College really helpful although it was the basic level. I received enough support from the teacher who helped me in understanding and do my best in the course work.

I am now studying Level 3 in Health and Social Care with CCG College and think this is the best decision I have made. There is so much to learn and understand about different factors in this sector and I believe throughout my studies I gained so much knowledge and confident about dealing with the service users requirements.

I aim to study more and go to university so that I can graduate and be eligible to work for NHS in the near future. I am grateful to CCG College and CCG College UK Healthcare for helping me out with my career and showing me the right path when needed.

Saima Gull

My name is Saima Gul. I found CCG College from one of my family members, who was already studying and working with CCG College. I sent my CV to CCG College for enrolment and got an interview.

I successfully completed the interview and enrolled in BTEC Level 1 in Health and Social Care. I started the course the training was very good and the tutor was very helpful.

After finishing the course, I started working as a Care Assistant for CCG College, as I was keen to work in Care Sector. I felt completing the course was helpful as I had learnt many things on the course that I did not know previously. I believe the course helped me to do my job correctly with confidence.

As I have finished my Level 1 Health and Social Care, I have registered myself for a BTEC Level 3 Health and Social Care to further my knowledge.

My aim is to be a Care Manager in Health and Social Care in the next few years. I am currently working with CCG College as a Senior Carer and looking forward to go further with my career. I am very happy with CCG College and want to continue to work with CCG College and study with CCG College.


Shazia Hanif

My name is Shazia Hanif, I am 49. I heard about CCG College Healthcare and CCG College from a friend and she introduced me to the company. I started working with CCG College in January 2013.

I had my initial training on the CQC Standards before qualifying for my BTEC level 1. Having a qualification in the field I am already working is very important for me. I wanted to do better in my career and the qualification helped me achieve a better result.

My aim is to be in the senior management team in a health care company. I also have a dream to work for the NHS. I chose CCG College because I had a very good feedback from other students that are already studying. The teacher was very helpful.

They helped me to understand the concept very well. It was an opportunity for me to learn more about health and social care industry. The teacher helped us with real life scenarios and training which was essential as I need to be confident whilst doing my job.

I am now working as a senior care assistant with CCG College UK Healthcare and very happy with my career. I want to be a part of NHS in the future to have more income support for me and for my family.
