Pearson BTEC Level 3 90 - credit Diploma in Health and Social Care


Overview

The 90-credit diploma allows for learners to expand on their essential skills, knowledge and understanding needed to gain confidence and progression. This qualification is broadly equivalent to 1.5 GCE A Levels and can be used in order to extend their specialism in Health and Social Care or to progress to a higher level.



All learners will work independently on this learner- led course to acquire a minimum of 90 credits from this course.

40 credits shall be taken from mandatory units:

  • Developing Effective Communication in Health and Social Care
  • Equality, Diversity and Rights in Health and Social Care
  • Health, Safety and Security in Health and Social Care
  • Development through the life stages


A further 50 credits shall be taken from optional units that are relevant to the learners needs for career progression.
