MD Chosen Care Group & associated companies, President Inclusive Economy & Business Forum; CEO Gjobs and Chair Shri Guru Datta Shirdi Saibaba Sansthan UK temple
Bala leads a group of care and media companies with a staff of 400, four UK offices and offices in India. Central to the portfolio is Chosen Care Group which has, in just 4 years, grown from a standing start with no funding to employing 240 people and celebrating the provision of over 250,000 hours of care to residents across Six East London boroughs. Related care companies include GJobs Recruitment and the online agency, Urban Care Community Ltd.
Alongside, the Group’s training company, CCG College of Skills Innovation, has become a leading East London & Essex Btech National Diploma (Learner Loan) training provider, a status confirmed by the awarding of Prime status by the Skills Funding Agency in 2016. CCG College also operates Dorset’s only examination centre for the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Driven by further ‘upward innovation’ (see below), CCG is continuing to diversify, including the launch of two new businesses in 2016, both suggested and run by existing employees. Beyond the care sector, Bala has growing media interests, primarily the movie company Great B Productions, which is now making its second feature film and Tree Wall Studio animations.
Bala's other Venture, Domain Reality investment, Payroll Outsourcing Ltd, Find a Learner CIC, Sridevi Trendz, Spot Dow and Ecare Academy.
Bala’s group of companies have enjoyed extraordinary growth in large part thanks to his uniquely motivating approach, which combines an intense focus on client care with a drive for ‘upward innovation’. This is the encouragement of all employees to identify and promote ways to improve services. Where an idea constitutes a valid concept for a new business, Bala has shown that it is willing to both back the idea and give control and equity to the employee.
